Hens, 2020 Ceramic Improvisation on Snaps from Nørrebro, Cph

Lost Pacifiers, a Key. A perfect Tongue of Ketchup in a trashed tray of chips. Hens. Curled up cans. Cigarette packs wiggled about and about. Black Doggy Bags, nicely knotted. Replaced by a Bird. Hens. A Black Panther in a tree, stuffed though. Scaffoldings. Old records up for grabs. Hens. A melted garbage can. Disrupted Pavement, Pipelines. Did I ever tell you about the smashed guitar?

A ceramic mixed media improvisation on snapshots from the streets of Nørrebro, Cph: During the first corona lockdown, when local areas became sightseeing attractions for the daily walks. And the Prime Minister asked the Danes to stay home, keep calm, and not hoard toilet paper...  

Based on field studies - at ByOasen, a public Copenhagen playground with among others, Hens.

MATERIALS: Mixed Media Ceramics; Stoneware, porcelain, photo, acrylic plate, artificial fox pompon (of rabbit), cobblestone, local style graffiti knitwear by Annie Hoff. Podium: Galvanized Pipes, linoleum, wood, neon paint
