EQUESTRIAN STATUE
A ceramic improvisation based on field studies at Christiansborg Castle Riding Track, where the royal horses are trained publicly in the morning.
Inspired among others by the equestrian statue of Chr. IX (1927) by Anne Marie Carl Nielsen (1863-1945), Danish sculptor - placed between the the track and the government building.
As for the bronze, copper is coloring the glaze green.
By the way - has anyone seen the Queen?
